Water Recycling
Recycling our water in our homes and city systems can help us get more out of the fresh water we use, and waste less. The term 'grey water' is used for water that is no longer clean enough to drink, but is good for other uses still. In our homes, grey water the by product of the fresh water that we wash dishes with, shower in and do our laundry in. While this water is no longer clean enough to drink, it is still perfectly usable for flushing toilets and watering our lawns. Below are some diagrams that show how water recycling can work in homes and in cities.
